How? Our Ministry

PLANTING CHURCHES AND CHURCH PLANTING NETWORKS – With much of our focus in Asia, one of the primary means by which we walk out our mission is by planting churches that plant more churches. We believe healthy churches can best reach those far from God, make disciples, equip strong leaders, bring solutions to the problems in their city and multiply into other healthy churches. The goal is to help pioneer networks or come alongside, serve and strengthen existing church planting networks.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND SCHOOLS OF MINISTRY – We believe that every follower of Jesus has a ministry and can influence others. Through mentoring and practical training, including Schools of Ministry, we serve and equip courageous leaders who love God, grow in character, discover their calling and carry the Gospel into their unique place in God’s story.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS IN THE 10/40 WINDOW – In Asia, in particular the 10/40 Window, the strategy for accomplishing our vision in that part of the world is to come alongside indigenous leaders who have a call to plant churches and to partner with and serve them, working together to pioneer, plant and form a health church planting network.

SIDEWALK SUNDAY SCHOOL – Children and Youth are our next generation of influencers. We invest intentionally in strategic outreaches to children in order to impact their lives with the Gospel and to reach their families in a holistic way. This is one of our primary ministries that we use in conjunction with the planting of churches.

MEDIA AND THE ARTS – Utilizing media and the arts, we proclaim the Gospel and resource people to grow as followers of Jesus Christ and as ministers and leaders in their sphere of influence.

EVENTS – Gatherings often lead to power encounters with Jesus. We host or participate in events of many different types (evangelistic, conferences, seminars, camps, etc.) to serve people and accomplish our mission.

PREACHING AND TEACHING – We serve people by preaching and teaching God’s Word. Traveling our region of the U.S.A. and around Asia, we preach and teach in churches, conferences, schools and other settings, believing that the “truth sets us free” (John 8:32) and praying, not for eloquent words, but a “demonstration of the Spirit’s power (1 Corinthians 2:4).”

MEETING PRACTICAL NEEDS – We take seriously God’s call to care for widows and orphans, the poor and the sick. Therefore, we invest in meeting practical needs that will help lift people out of dire situations.
